Welcome to Dress Rite Forms Co. We produce dress forms for manufacturing, display, and rental.
Owning a dress form allows for three-dimensional design of garments. The natural shape of our forms assimilates actual body castings of real people assuring a good fit and that clothes will hang properly. Fabric pattern features can be placed to compliment the figure, darts can be rotated, experimentation is practical, imagination can be immediately executed, and when the garment is finished, it will fit.
Our dress form lineup includes:
The Base Model: our more economical model, this torso form is made from paper maché and covered with knit.
The Industrial Model: our industrial quality model, this torso form is made from paper maché, padded, covered with Irish linen, has a cage, and collapsible shoulders.
The Gold Model: this torso model is shaped to accurately reflect the body shape of mature women over the age of 50. They are offered in both Base and Industrial configurations.
Full Body Dress Forms: full length body from neck to ankles, these forms are made from paper maché, padded, covered with Irish linen, and has collapsible shoulders.
Half Scale Dress Forms: our soft touch half scale measurements are exactly half of the full size they represent for easy grading to full size patterns. The forms are covered in knit and pins easily go in and out of the form.
Rentals: We rent display forms in the Chicagoland area, they come in black or crème knit covers, and we offer a variety of bases.
